Q: 1 what are advantages and disadvantages of offering unique and creative benefits to the employees?

Answer: Employees benefit are incentives for the employees given them as a reward for their

performance. These benefits serve various purposes for the growth of business. One of the advantage of

offering unique and creative benefit to the employees is that it motivate the employees. Talented

business leaders available in labor market are attracted towards the organization. Creative benefits help

to increase the productivity and efficiency of employees. Sales targets of a business can be achieved by

offering benefits on certain level of sales. Benefits in form of health insurance helps to improve the

morale and health of business. As a result their efficiency increase.

There are some disadvantages related with employees benefit too. For example benefits related with

boosting of sales leads towards the competition within the employees. Existing staff don’t encourage

the new employees and neither have they trained them properly.

Employers of business can maximize the satisfaction and value of benefit in number of ways. There is

need of communication between both parties and employers should give detail information of benefits

to the employees. Choice of benefits available to employees also helps them to maximize the value of

benefits according to their own needs.

Each person has its own preference. Information about choice of benefits for employees can be

obtained through discussions and other source of communication. Feedback can be obtained by

developing questions. For example, what are your preferences and which type of benefits fulfill these

preference.

Individual managers can better communicate with employees and hence they can better understand

their choices. This is one of the advantage. Also, individual managers’ leads group of employees and it

can adjust task and objectives of specific business area according to need. But there are some negative

aspects too. If benefits are not distributed uniformly in employees, it created sense of discrimination. It

may lower the morale of employees. Legal issues can also arise in its result.
