Hypothetical situation

On Friday, August 25 – the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, whole of mumbai’s population can be seen
on roads for Ganpati visarjan. Mr. Ganesh katekar, a gangster turned politician has also
organised one such possession which would started from Coca Cola society, Santa cruz where he
lives to Gorai beach where the final visarjan is to happen. The elections in Mumbai are due next
year and Mr. Ganesh Katekar is bound to win the election only if Mr Krishna another Gangster
turned politician doesn’t stand in elections. He has recently gained popularity in the santa cruz
area because of social work he as been carrying out for past two year in the area and there is a
good chance of Mr. Krishna winning the next election. Mr Ganesh has got info from his secret
sources that a certain political party has approached Mr. Krishna for party ticket from Santa Cruz
for upcoming elections. Now to make sure that he wins the upcoming election, Mr Ganesh
devices a plan. He invited Mr. Krishna to his possession for Ganesh visarjan and plan to shoot
him in midst of the possession assuming no one would know who shot since there will be
thousands of people, loud music and colours all around. Therefore before leaving for possession
he kept his Glock 19 pistol in pocket of his kurta and has made up his mind to shoot Mr. Krishna
amidst possession whenever he feels time is right. The possession continues Mr. Ganesh was
looking for opportunity all this time but never found a best time and circumstances to shoot and
eventually got cold feet and decided not to shoot. Mr. ganesh suddenly got nervous and the fear
of him getting busted with the gun was all over him, he though getting rid of his pistol is the
right thing to do so the minute the possession reached shore, Mr Ganesh went to the corner
pretending to talk on phone and after making sure that no one is seeing him, He threw his pistol
in the deep water. But little did he know that Mr. Krishna’s secretary, Mr. Narad who has come
to the same corner to use the portable toilet specially placed by the government to facilitate
people coming on beach for ganesh Chaturthi, has seen Mr. Ganesh throwing the gun in the sea.
Mr. Narad thought that it would be a great opportunity and rushed to the police station to lodge a
complaint against Mr. Ganesh.
