Our good friend, Rosie leaves this week for Zimbabwe.
Following conversations with Pastor John Bell of Harare’s
Central Baptist Church who was with us recently and among our
deacons, we are asking Rosie to be our PBC representative to
the people of Central Baptist. We are asking her:
 To find out how feasible a partnership between Portland Baptist Church and
Harare Central Baptist would be, and in what shape or form that partnership
may take, bearing in mind that a partnership is a two way street.
 If PBC members were to visit HCBC, to find out how not to be a burden to
HCBC and what would be the best time and purpose for a visit.
 To find out about a 3 month internship at HCBC with the idea of a young
adult from PBC undertaking the internship..
 To find out what the needs of HCBC are and the best way which PBC might
try and meet those needs
So, this morning we will be offering prayer for Rosie as
she travels and attends to the above matters on our behalf.
