To be eligible for F.Y. B.Tech admissions in Maharashtra, candidates must meet certain requirements:
1) Maharashtra state candidates must be Indian nationals, have passed HSC or equivalent with Physics, Math, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical or Vocational subjects scoring 50% (45% for reserved categories), or have a diploma in engineering scoring 50% (45% for reserved categories), or have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university scoring 50% (45% for reserved categories), and obtain a score on MHT-CET 2016.
2) All India candidates must meet the same criteria as Maharashtra candidates or have a score on M

Tech Admissions 1) Maharas htra State Candidature Candidate.-
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks,in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects or taken together; (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates or belonging to Maharashtra State only); ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); (iii) Obtained score in MHT-CET 2016 conducted by the Competent Authority.
2) All India Candidature Candidates
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) Or in the above subjects taken together; (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates Or belonging to Maharashtra State only); ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging toMaharashtra State only); (iii) Obtained score in MHT-CET 2016 or JEE Main Paper I.
3) PIO, Foreign National Students
The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks;
