There are too many reality shows on TV

Do you agree?

There are many TV reality shows. They are a television phenomenon and have turned their
protagonists into youthful idols. But the realities of the competition are also a space for
romances, dramas and even weddings broadcast live. How much truth and how much does it
look like? In my opinion, there are many reality shows and they do not contribute anything to
education

First of all, as you can see, the viewer prefers this type of program of entertainment

Second, people are passionate about the stories of others, with their supposed spontaneity
and that feeling of participating in the result, something that fictions do not have. The same
producers admit that one of The main attractions of these programs is the reality format, the
experiences around the competitions, which take a back seat.

Third, there are several components that explain the high rating of these Programs: fabricated
reality, scandals, romances, gossip, sexism, violence, morbid, among others.

In conclusion, the success of this type of programs -with rating points- coincides with the
absence of an adequate offer, more cultural, educational and Healthy entertainment: for
children and young people. They occupy the schedule where before the musical programs,
competitions and drawings reigned animated, aimed at children so they can enjoy television
afterwards homework.
It is evident that violence, sexism, curiosity and scandal do not just are present, but they are
essential ingredients of this type of programs aimed at a highly receptive public and of little
critical capacity.
