I Objectives

Students must be able to:

 Analyze the element of art in the production of one’s art and crafts inspired by the arts of Luzon
(highland and lowlands)
 Analyze and reflect the mood, idea, or message emanating from the selected artifacts and art
object
 Identify characteristics of arts and crafts in the specific areas of Luzon ( Lowland and Highland)
 Create crafts that can be locally assembled with local traditional techniques

II. Subject Matter

Arts and Crafts of Luzon (Highlands and Lowlands)
Reference: MAPEH 7 (ARTS)
Materials: Visual Aids, Laptop

III. Procedure

A. Motivation
1. Play four pic 1 word
2. group the class into three groups
3. Then after posting the pictures let the student assemble the letters to get the correct answer
4. Students will read the correct answer to their classmate

B. Lesson proper
1. Did everyone know this provinces?
2. Introduce the arts and Craft of Luzon (highland and Lowland)
Let analyze the arts and craft of Ilocos Region, Pangasinan, and Cordillera Administrative Region
(CAR)
They are known for weaving, textiles and jewerlies
They are using different colors and design for their craft
3. Lets identify the different arts and crafts of Luzon

C. Evaluation
1. Using your styro cup, create a design for hand tattoo.
Use the traditional tattoo design of Ifugao and you can also use other design like geometric
pattern and symbols.

Bring three color paper.( Primary Colors only )
