TCS Recruitment Details

As we are one of the TCS-PREMIUM institutions, TCS offers the Digital Fresher’s profile other
than the Ninja (ITES/ADM) profile to MITians. This is being offered ONLY to the TCS-
PREMIUM institutions.

For the two profiles mentioned below students have to qualify in TCS – National Qualifier Test.

Eligibility criteria:

1) For Digital Profile:

Eligible Branches/ Disciplines:

B.Tech M.Tech MCA


Computer Science (CS) CS, CSIS with BSc/ BCA
Information Technology (IT) SE (with
Computer Communication (CC) CNE Math/Statistics
Electronics & Communication (EC) DEAC, MEL Background)
Electrical & Electronics (EE) ESM, PED
Mechanical & Manufacturing (ME) CAAD, MET, Thermal

Qualification:

B.Tech, MCA and M.Tech


 70% and above (or equivalent CGPA) in the highest qualification of the candidate.
 Consistent 60% and above (or equivalent CGPA) throughout the academic career –i.e,
Xth/ XIIth/ Diploma/ Graduate Degree (for MCA/M.Tech candidates) as applicable.
 No standing arrears or backlogs as per last published results

Compensation: B.Tech: 7LPA & MCA/M.Tech: 7.3LPA approximately


Job and Role (for 2019 passed outs):
Students hired through this channel would be groomed to work on challenging digital
engagements and trending technologies in areas like Internet of Things, Big Data & analytics,
Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence etc. Some of the roles that they would be assigned are:
o Full Stack Developers
o DevOps Engineers
o Data Scientists
o Product Engineers
o Systems Research Engineers etc

2) For Ninja (ITES / ADM) profile:

TCS National Qualifier Test (TNQT) 2020 is a PAN drive beginning with an Online Test
followed by a Personal Interview which will have three rounds - Technical, Managerial &
HR. Post the Online test assessment, interview date and location will be communicated to
candidates individually.

TNQT 2020 happens across India in the TCS-ion centres given in the registration page.
