Dear Ms. Guerra:

Good day! I hope this letter finds you well.

Development Communication 6 also known as Photography in Development is a course that

will allow us to deepen our knowledge in photography and photojournalism and teaches us on
how can we use photography in development by taking photographs to the residents of
Cabanglasan, Bukidnon and show to the people their real stories. Thus, it requires us to have
a useful tool in order for us to realize and actualize the competency offered by the course.

In line with this, I am writing this letter to ask this humble scholarship for an assistance to
shoulder a DSLR camera which would really help me not just in this course but also
throughout my four years in being a Development Communication student. I tried to ask my
mother if she could provide a camera for me but since we’re not financially capable
especially now that she doesn’t have a permanent job. I promise that I will payback your
generosity by excelling in my academics.
