• Attendance is mandatory
 If you miss more than SIX classes: DX grade will be
awarded
 Will be marked absent if more than 5 minutes late.
Logistics
• Grading:
• In-semester (un)announced quizzes – (5 or 6):
30% marks
• Unannounced quizzes: Simple/based on
facts discussed in the class
• Announced quizzes – some analysis will be
required.
• Mid-semester marks: 25% marks
• Final-exam: 45% marks
• Makeup classes/tutorials: Saturdays 10–11am
(not every week but please block this slot!)
