Seminar #1
Back to Basics: The HVAC Selection Process

Good News!
Your firm has just been awarded a significant new building
design project.
You are responsible for recommending the best HVAC
system for your client.
Is this a chiller / boiler / cooling tower / air handling unit
project?
Is this a Rooftop Unit project?
Is this a room-by-room terminal heat pump project?
How will you decide?
Back to Basics: The HVAC Selection Process

Today’s Speakers
S. Duda “Choosing the Right System Type for your Client.”
H. McKew “Selecting a Central HVAC System.”
J. Kuempel “Selecting a Decentralized HVAC System.”
Also: “HVAC System Selection” ALI Continuing Education
Short Course offered Monday, June 26, 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

System Selection for De-Centralized

Heating and Cooling Systems

presented by:

Dayton, OH

June 25, 2006

Choosing the Right System for your Client

The excitement and thrill of the project award has worn

off, the work must be done.
Your client or project is not suited to centralized
chiller/boiler system design.
The “Big Dogs” in the firm are no longer interested in
helping, no chiller, no help!
A packaged de-centralized HVAC system is to be
selected.
You’ve forgotten all but what the last vendor lunch offered
for products in the market.
It’s time to get educated on packages units!
