Background Information (Latar Belakang)

Born on August 29, 1958 (THOUSANDS OF NINE HUNDREDS FIVE-TIGHT EIGHT) in Gary, Indiana, Michael
was one of nine children. He is the 7th child of 9 siblings. His brothers include Rebbie, Jackie, Tito,
Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy, and Janet. Michael Jackson is known as the "King of Pop".

Jackson showed his musical talent at a young age when he sang in front of his classmates at the
Christmas recital at the age of five

Michael and Marlon joined the Jackson Brothers - a band founded by his brothers: Jackie, Tito, and
Jermaine

Jackson 5 became a pop group sensation throughout the world. After signing with Motown's notes, the
group made hit singles like "ABC", "I want you to come back", and "I'll be there". In the end, popularity
as a group helped launch Michael into a solo career.
