2) Please note that there can’t be no late submission.
3) Upload in V-Top on/before deadline. Email submission also leads to lesser mark.
4) Refer different books and recent journal articles and write your understanding of
subjects.
5) Answer all questions and don’t copy from your friends. Do not give/ allow others to
copy from your DA. Both cases leads to zero mark.
6) Again, I’m repeating, no late submissions and do not copy your assignment and do
not allow others to copy
7) For each question, please write at least 2-3 pages.
8) Type in MS-Word and then upload the PDF file for submission.

briefly explain with suitable example?
2. Describe the different types of pattern material and pattern allowance with suitable
example of casting process.
3. Explain very briefly the traditional casting and non-traditional casting process.
4. Explain the nature of defect in casting process and identify the defects through various
NDT techniques.
5. List down the foundry tools used and state its specific purpose
