What to know for the 1st day of school...

-Don’t bring a backpack! Just bring a folder or small binder, pencil, paper, and
lunch/$ on the first day. Teachers hand out supply lists the first week of school.
-On the first day of school, room assignments (alpha advisories) will be posted on
the walls. You will get your class schedule there. Ask a teacher for help if needed.
-Please note that many classes are already full or unavailable. We will do our best
to honor your top elective choices if possible.
-On the first day of school, you will get a packet of papers to take home with all of
the school information. It is super important for your parents to read through all
of this with you and sign/return any necessary forms!
-Talk to your English teacher about the summer reading assignment on the first
day of school. Let them know you are new to Bailey this year.
-Sign up for the parent cloud to check grades & attendance at
https://www.austinisd.org/technology/parent-cloud/parent-self-serve
-Make sure your email is correct when you register (and sign up with the PTA too)
to get weekly school announcements and updates.
