CELF Activity for the Month of Dec. and January

CELF – Parish Formation Team

Last December 2017 the Commission on Education and Lay Formation started the
gathering of different Lay people who are interested to become one of the Parish Formation
Team. Apparently, the Commission have already produce a Screening Committee composed of
the 5 Ministries under the CELF together with the PPC President as the Committee Adviser. The
target of our commission, by the end of January is to present and endorse an official list of
Participants for the Parish Formation Team

Diocesan CELF Planning (Verbum Dei Retreat House Tagaytay City Philippines)
Jan. 7 & 8, 2018
The Diocesan Planning was very successful and well-organize, one of those important
matters that had been discussed during the planning is about the five Formation thrust (Christian
love, Human Dignity, Total Human Development, Community Building, Social Responsibility) and
DCELF Proposed Policies and Procedures that will serve as a guide of every Parish in conducting
a formation for the CELF, they also discussed the strengthening of CELF in every Parish and
Vicariate under the Diocese of Kalookan.
