“PANULUNDONG SAYAW”

The cultural show happened last December 5, 2018 (Wednesday) at UIC Bonifacio
campus gym. The show presents the revisiting classic Philippine folk music and dances,
entitled “Panulundong Sayaw”. It showcase the students’ talents through dancing and
playing classical instruments.

During the show I was amazed by their performance. From the first performers until it
reached the finale. The dancers wear different tribal and ethnic clothes. They portray the
way of living of the people before and especially how girls and boys socialize with each
other. The performance is creative because they showed to the audience that Filipino
culture should be given an importance up until now. From costumes, dance and
choreography, musical instruments, props, - the work of art really dominates. They
express their feelings through gracefully dancing, and using different props.

The finale show really catches my attention because the dancers unites, and just like
Filipinos we are all united. And to sum it up the cultural show really changes my thoughts
that cultural show is interesting and not boring.
