1) What are the various marriage types registered at marriage
office?
Ans: 1 Special marriage. 2) Forn 16 marriage.
2) What is special marriage?
Ans: The marriage for which notice is to be given 1 month before the
actual marriage to Marriage Registrar office in front of marriage officer.
3) What is form 16 marriage?
Ans: The marriage already took place but is to be registered in
Maharashtra.
4) How to make new entry for notice?
Ans: Select district,select marriage office,select marrige type.
5) What are the prerequisites for special marriage?
Ans: One month notice either by bride or bridegroom to the concern
marriage registrar.
6) What are the various documents required for notice of special
marriage or form 16 marriage ?
Ans:
A) Age proof documents(any one of the following) 1]Birth
Certifiate.2]School leaving certificate 3]Bonafide certificate 4]Driving
license 5]Domisile Certificate 6]SSC Marksheet.(Please bring original
of the above at the time of notice)
B) Residence proof documents(any one of the following) 1]Election
card.2]Electricity bill 3]Governments Employers ID 4]Registered Leave
and license documents 5]Passport 6]Ration card 7]Society certificate
8]Telephone bill 9]Company allotment letter.(Please bring original of
the above at the time of notice)
7)How to make data entry for special marriage notice?
Ans: 1}Select district ,marrige office and marriage type and click on
submit 2} Enter Bridgroom personal details-first name, middle name, last
name,DOB,Occupation 3} Select status whichever is applicable 4} Enter
present address(Pincode is must) 5} Enter permanemt address(Pincode is

next 7} Enter bride details like bridegroom details 8}Enter three witness
details.9} Note down the data entery number and it has to be carried
out at marige office for notice.

8) How to make data entry for form 16 marriage notice?

Ans: 1}Select district ,marrige office and marriage type and click on
submit. 2} Enter husband name ,dob,occupation,wife name after
marriage,wife name before marriage,wife dob,wifes accuoation. 3} Enter
present adress (pincode is must) 4} select document attached 5} Enter
three witness details.6}Enter children details.7}Note down the data
entery number and it has to be carried out at marige office for notice.
9) What is partial data entry?
Ans:In case of special mariage if bridegroom details are entered and
connectivity is lost then using the partial entry number you can make
further data entry.You can also use this facility for Form 16 Marriage
modifications.
10)How to view notice again?
Ans:)Select partial data entry option,select district,sro,marriage type and
enter data entry number ,click on import.Data will be shown then you can
also modify the data and view notice again.
