Pace will help you navigate one of the major benefits of studying
in the USA: the opportunity to get paid work experience while on

mathematics (STEM) majors can extend their OPT to 36 months.

When we receive your signed application form and supporting documents,
we carefully review them and advise if you need to send more information.

Application checklist
A complete application to Pace includes:
a pplication form completed and signed
proof of English language proficiency
official transcripts for all high school and post-high school institutions attended, with supporting
grade scale, translated into English if necessary
GMAT or GRE score (if required, master’s applicants only)
SAT or ACT score (optional, bachelor’s applicants only)
minimum 500-word personal statement answering:
Undergraduate applicants
Why you want to study at Pace; why you chose your major; your future plans; what makes you
stand out, etc.
Graduate applicants
Why you are applying to your chosen degree; your expectations, outcomes, and goals; your
professional/academic experiences and accomplishments related to the degree.
Reference letter(s) from professor/instructor or employer:
Global Pathways program applicants
1 letter for undergraduates; 1 letter for graduates (except 2 letters for master’s in Dyson School of Arts
and Sciences)
Degree admission applicants
2 letters (except 1 letter for master’s in Seidenberg School of CSIS)
CV/résumé listing work/school history, languages, awards, certificates, volunteer work,
and accomplishments (required for master’s, optional for bachelor’s applicants)
passport copy (including visa if you are already working or studying in the USA)
recent bank statement or scholarship letter showing no less than the minimum funds required in
Pace’s Financial Affidavit form (search “affidavit” at kaplanpathways.com/download)

Submission to Pace
Once complete, we submit your application to the University for an admission decision.

Admission: next steps
Received an offer from Pace? Congratulations! Learn more about what you’ll
need to do before you start classes. We’ll guide you through every step.

1. Admission to Pace
If your application is successful, you are offered admission to Pace University, either through
a preparation program or directly to a degree. If you are admitted to the Global Pathways Nityanand from India

2. Accept offer within 30 days


To secure your place at Pace University, pay a deposit (specified in your offer letter)
within 30 days of receiving your offer or before any I-20 deadline.

3. Receive I-20
After we receive the required financial documents from you, a visa eligibility document
(Form I-20) is issued. You need a hard copy of the I-20 to apply for a student visa.

4. Apply for a visa


Allow enough time to receive your visa from the US embassy or consulate. Visa appointment and processing

can help with the visa process. In the case of visa denial, your deposit will be refunded.
