II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY


 Marketing Aspect

We will become one of the suppliers of pork meat on Coron and some Hotel and Resort in the future.

 Production Aspect

We envisioned to produce 1,500 kilos of pork for the next 3 to 6 months. And double our production for
succeeding years of operation.

 Management Aspect

Every member will be given 2 pigs to manage under the supervision of the officers.

 Financial Aspect

We are hoping to get financial assistance from; DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, Some members of
MRRD-NECC and other Civic/Religious groups.

 Collaboration of Stakeholder’s Commitments (Organization/ACP, Beneficiaries, etc.)

III. ORGANIZATION/ACP/PROPONENT/PROPONENT OVERVIEW

 History, structure and organization

There are several group of fishermen, farmers and swine growers helping each other to improve each
operations and skills. It is about time we get the necessary help especially from the Government
Agencies.

 Strategic Direction

Tourism of Coron are growing each year, Municipallity of Coron almost always cannot cope up with the
high demand every day. Putting up a piggery can address the demand.

 People and Relevant Skills and Expertise

There already Coronians from So. Sta. Monica, Bgy. Guadalupe and expertise to venture in this project.
We only need financial assistance.

 Address/Location

The piggery will be built in more or less 5,000.00 sq. meter, upland area with an improvise well in the
area for the necessary water for the pigs and cleaning purposes, 6 kilometers away from Coron Town
Proper, 15 minutes travel by tricycle or van.

IV. INTRODUCTION
We are proposing a piggery project to meet the shortage demand of pork in Coron town.
It will eventually create jobs opportunities to the MRRD members of So. Sta. Monica, Bgy. Guadalupe
Homeworkers Ass. Inc.
It will also benefits small entrepreneurs, hotels and the people of Coron.
Initially, the piggery will have Two (2) buildings TEN (10) units for FIFFTY (50) pigs.

V. THE PROPOSED BUSINESS/PROJECT

A. Marketing Plan

By this day Coron is having a shortage of pork which are mostly coming from different barangays and
some surroundings islands and islets where travelling of pork And pigs are hard that is why cost are high.
We proposed this business/Project in our place so that pork will become affordable and sufficient.

 Product to be offered

We will be opening the market fresh pork of live pigs.

 Brand Strategy
We will producing a large amount of porks in affordable prices.

 Distribution Strategy

We intend to produce around 1,500 kilos of pork after 3 to 6 months and more or 5,000.00 kilos of pork
a year. Delivery of pick-up will also be per month on our first production and payable in cash to cash
basis.

 Product Strategy

To sustain the delivery of pork to the market, we will a multi-purpose vehicle.

 Pricing strategy

Our estimated sell will be TWO HUNDRED PESOS (P200.00) to TWO HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS (P220.00)
per kilo of pure meat as compared to TWO HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS per kilo at present.

 Promotion Strategy

We will promote our product thru words of mouth and by the most effective marketing tool now a days,
which is social media (Online Marketing). We will also promote our product in the public market.

 Prospective Buyers

Buyers are supplies, small enterpreneurs, hotels, resorts and people of Coron.

B. Production Plan
One building will be built that will house the FIFTY (50) piglets that divided into TEN (10) units, each
units will occupied 4 to 5 piglets, half of the piglets will raise for meat production and half of it is for
breeding purposes.
The piggery will be manned by the Members under the supervision of the officers. All workers should
maintain the cleanliness of each units and the surrounding.
A Fifty (50) sq. meters that is stand for stockroom, clinic and office is attached to the building.

C. Management Plan

Project management team will composed of the officers of the said organization.
