 The Princess and her Two Princes

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a simple but sad princess. She
lived with her parents and two step siblings but she feels that there’s still something bothering
her. She is still longing for the two persons that became a big part in her life, and those two
persons are her two princes which is her two other step brothers that treated her like a princess
when they were still together.
February 5, 2001, the day that the princess of the family was born, she was raised by her
mother together with her two princes; her father was working in a far place that’s why he can
only visit her once a month. Her two step brothers and her grandfather became the substitute of
her father since he was working in a very far place. The two princes were very sweet and
protective to their little princess. Sometimes they are the one who gives her a bath, who puts her
to sleep, who brings her to school and fetch her after, and sometimes they can also be the
playmate of the little princess, just like other siblings, her two step brothers are teasing her for
fun until she cries but after that they apologize to her. They may have different fathers but their
treatment to the princess was not different because they were raised by their mother and
grandparents in a right way. The three was very close to each other until one day.
Because of the increasing demands of the family, the money that their mother was
currently earning is not enough to give them what they want; so their mother decided to work to
a place that is far from them because there is no other choice. The day of the flight of their
mother was also the day that the three kids will be separated from each other for a very long
time. They will be separated because the princess had to live with her father in his hometown,
and the two princes will be living together with their grandparents. That was a hard situation for
them because they were used to live in the same house but not anymore. The princess was crying
almost every single day because she misses her two princes a lot.
Her parents noticed that it was not a good idea to separate the three kids; so they made
another idea to lessen the sadness of the princess. Every month, the two princes will visit the
princess and bond with her. That idea works very well but not very long. As the days pass, the
life of the two princes became busy and that causes them to fail the every month visit to their
little princess. Unfortunately the day has come that the two princes can only visit her whenever
there is a special occasion, and eventually they can only visit her if they have their free time. In
that case, their closeness began to fade gradually.
Ten years later, the little princess is no longer a little one. She is now a grown up princess
who can understand the difficulties in life. She can now understand that the closeness that she
have with her two princes back then will never be the same now. One of her two princes is now a
king and has already a new little princess, and the other one is now starting to build his own
family. They are all happy with their own lives now but still, the princess is longing for her old
two princes, her two princes who once took good care of her while their mother is working, her
two princes who once became her playmate and teased her, and her two princes who once
became her prince that protects her to everything and everyone. Yes they’re okay with each other,
they still love each other, but there is still one thing that comes into the princess’s mind and that
is “I wish I can turn back the time”.
