During the five years of training students can learn the basics of the trade and the techniques of
creating items, jewellery and articles for personal use. During their studies they can become familiar
with the history and the technological requirements of the trade. They can get an insight how to
carry out decorative processes such as filigree or enamel. Students can learn the problems of creative
thinking, object design, modelling and implementation through their own design and they can
demonstrate their knowledge by their work at the end of their fifth year.

Studies at our school provide an excellent basis to continue studies at different art colleges,
professional forums or to get a job in any fields of the trade.

In the recent years our students achieved good results at the „Design Párbaj” announced by FISE, the
Jewellery Making Competition in Déri Museum and the Enamel-work Biennale in Eger.

Graphic designer

During the training our students learn about traditional multiplier graphics and computer graphics as
well. Going to exhibitions and workshops help students connect their studies with concrete
examples. We focus on civilization and open-mindedness. Further important abilities and attitudes
are education, visual and conceptual thinking, sense of composition, professional and technological
knowledge, systematic thinking, abstraction, creativity, evaluation, artistic multiplier graphics, basics
of printing industry and bookbinding, knowledge of vector-, pixelgraphic and text editing softers.

After proper training students can design book illustrations, posters, different publications and ad
materials. Based on their studies they can continue to study at art colleges or take up a position in a
graphic studio.

Motion picture and animation maker

Students of the trade get to know different fields: photography, film design and filmmaking, theory
and practice of motion picture creation. Within traditional and computer-based animation
techniques students learn about 3D modelling and animation.

During the training they learn to be able to:

- design and make motion pictures and animated films

- fulfil different jobs (director of photography, editor) in film- and television studios
- perform designing, modelling and animator tasks in the field of 3D design
- find a job in the field of photography.

They can continue their studies at art colleges.

Fashion designer

Learning the trade fashion designers will have the possibility to work in the creative field of fashion.
With their design qualifications they can help clients with special needs at dressmaker’s salons.

In a design team they will be able to see garment creation in its completeness from design to
implementation. During the training they will gain professional experience which help them to work
in other creative fields as set designers, costume designers, dressers, stylists, art managers, fashion
columnists etc.

Design

Besides the general subjects students acquire professional design behaviour from the ninth grade. By
the end of the thirteenth grade they will be able to prepare their final work collection on the basis of
their own design. They also learn about pattern design and fashion graphics. They use various
techniques for their designs, for example: montage, painting techniques, ink drawing etc. Learning
about the history of garments can help them to incorporate the characteristics of different eras and
silhouette into their own design.

Implementation

On the basis of designs beautiful garment collections become true in the school’s dressmaker’s salon.
Students learn everything from first to last step. In the first four years garments are made for
students’own size, in the fifth year for mannequin size. All the necessary materials are provided by
the school. After the successful exam the young fashion designers present their exam collection for
the public every year.
