P Activity Students will download the app to their mobile devices.

for their short stories along with the chronological sequencing.
d They will then use the app to publish their stories, add photos and

g sequential narration and creating a cohesive piece.
o The teacher will first go over an example of a story map with
the class and demonstrate various ways the app can be useful

and the tools it has. The teacher will then circulate the room,
y aiding students in developing their narratives, and giving the OK
when it is time for them to use the app to publish/create their
pieces. The teacher will circulate and address any tech questions
and writing questions as the class works.
Students will each be asked to find a peer reviewed research
article that pertains to a current event or issue. They will then
write a response to the article and post this along with the
link/article to the Bounce App. Students will be assigned groups
within the app so they can see what each member has shared
and written. Groups will be of 3-4 students and they will be asked
to pose big picture questions in response to what they’ve read.
This can be a major theme, political or social movement etc. as
long as the student is making connections to a broader idea after
reading. This is meant to enhance the perspectives of their group
members. As a group, they will then decide which article and
responses are best to share with the class. Students will be asked
to present a solution of some kind within their responses to the
articles/ current events.

The teacher will circulate the room to make sure students are
on task and assisting with any tech questions regarding usage of
the app and sharing files.
