Route survey report 1
Worldwide specialists in heavy lifting and transport

Introduction
The route survey was carried out to determine the extend of required road modifications for safe transportation of
main components to the windfarm, Guleslettene.
The main challenge on the transport route is the Haukåtunnel located on Fv614, the tunnel does not have the
required transport window and must be enlarged to allow components to pass.

Conclusion
Rev 00
The survey was conducted to the point where Fv614 meets Rv5.
The reason why the survey was stopped at point 9.1 was due to our own and other road users safety, the roads
could not be kept clear of ice and snow, so after a few attempts trying to measure curves on the route we saw
that I created dangerous situations forcing cars and trucks to brake hard with the risk of ourselves being hit, or
put road users into uncontrolled situations.
A number of trucks is driving on the Fv614 to reach the village of Svelgen, to either pick up or deliver cargo,
during the time we tried to perform the survey on Fv614 we had to stop and wait 3 times for trucks fitted with
snow chains to be recovered after sliding into the ditch.
Picture examples below regarding the weather situation on Fv614.

Conclusion
Rev 01
The remaining part of the route was surveyed on the 19th of Febuary 2019.
If the modifications described in the document, as well as the modifications in the Haukå tunnel, described in the
ATS 3D scan report are carried out, Mammoet Brande is confident that all main components for Guleslettene WF
can be safely delivered.
When driving through the Haukå tunnel, all transport must be supervised by to spotters for the most critical
components which is the blade and the nacelle. In the 3D simulation it is clearly visible where the pinch points for
these components are.
It´s recommended to perform a test run prior to start of the project to validate the described modifications and
also to determine trimming at a few pinch points as described in the document.
Test permits for the base tower, blade and nacelle is under application.
