because books have significances on having those hard copy of books. In addition,

books give different kind of vibe and attitude and it also has a calming effect on other

people because the some of the respondents actually activate their imagination very

well in using the printed books in reading. Some just say that traditional is better than

technology-based which means that books are better than technological books.

Based from the given data and information, the respondents said that tecnology

affects the book readers in both positive and negative ways. Technology is currently

capable of gathering even the oldest of books, and could almost give anything that

you look for, while saving space. While the negative is that it is slowly taking over the

traditional way of reading books.

Additionally, technology has affected the book readers because it is more

accessible than using books. Logically speaking, technology has been easing us in

different kind of ways and just like in reading, it also eases the readers on reading

because it is less hassle. Further, people nowadays would always settle to what is

easier and what they think is more helpful.

In addition, the technology also changes the way the people understand texts

and technically speaking, technology has some health risks like eye strain/damage

because they emit radiation.

What are the effects of reading books in your knowledge which includes reading
comprehension, writing and spelling skills, vocabulary, etc.?

The respondents said that reading books in any kind of medium could enhance
our communicational skills because it widens up the vocabulary and improves
grammar when we read books. In addition, reading books greatly improves the
reader’s ability to understand and analyze texts and different kind of situation.
Furthermore, it also enhances the critical thinking skills, spelling ability, reading
comprehension skills of the book readers.

As a result, these skills could help a person in communicating other people and
it is also very useful to students because students could be creative in forming texts.
What do you think is the connection of the medium that you use in enhancing
or improving your knowledge/skills?

Based from the data and information from an interview to the respondents, most

of them answered that both of the medium will be very efficient in reading and it will

also enhance many of the skills like vocabulary, communication skill, etc. Some of

them said that the attitude while reading and the satisfaction are the things that will

only differ in using preferred kind of medium.

What do you think would be the most effective considering various of

advantages and disadvantages of both mediums? Give a brief explanation.

Some of the respondents said that the most effective medium to use in reading

is printed books because does not give any distraction than using

technology/internet/phone because those devices will only distract a person in

reading. In addition, using printed books will focus yourself in reading. Further, the

respondents also said that books are the most effective than technological books

because books have been a long time medium on reading even before technology

and mobile phones have existed and developed. Respondents also said that books

have significant impacts that can make a person imagine in a different kind of way and

some of them also said that the experience on reading books is more fulfilling and

more classical than reading with technological books and it give more reliable

information than those in technology/internet However, several of them said that

printed and technological books have the same effects on an individual’s skills. Printed

and technological books have the same purpose and that is by fulfilling information,

knowledge and imagination to a person. On the other hand, some of the respondents

said that technology or mobile phones are much more convenient and handier. In

addition, you could pick so many stories in mobile phones and internet than books
because nowadays every information is now on internet but some of them is not as
