PRIVATE LESSONS

Coach Omar Trevino: Omar started his tennis career in Mexico. He became
Mexico’s National Champion in the 16’s and 18’s divisions, and made the top 20 in
Florida. Along with a Division 1 scholarship at South Alabama University, he brings
over 15 years of coaching experience to OT Tennis Academy, as well as managing and
directing companies. His coaching experience ranges from beginners to top-ranked
juniors. Omar’s unique ability to understand the mental aspect of tennis helps him
connect with players and instill in them the mental toughness tactics that are critical
for any aspiring athlete. Rate: $90/hour

Coach Angelo Delgado: Angelo grew up in Puerto Rico, where he was a top
junior player. He continued to pursue his education through a highly specialized
“Tennis Technical Program” at Tyler College in Texas. For over 25 years, Angelo has
trained and mentored many junior players. Furthermore, he is USPTA and ITF certified
since 1990. Angelo consistently works with all our kids in their tennis foundations,
footwork, and playing strategies. Rate: $80/hour

Coach Bert Nndifor: Bert is originally from Cameroon, he grew up playing tennis
and was ranked #2 in his native country as a junior and #12 in Africa. He has more
than 10 years of experience teaching tennis to students of all ages and skill levels.
Bert has taught at prestigious academies around the world such as Franco Tennis
Academy in the United States, John Johnson Academy in London, Qatar Elite Sports
Academy in Doha, and Ayaba Tennis Club in Cameroon. Additionally, he is an ITF
Certified Coach since 2009. Rate: $75/hour

Coach Ryan Wattar: Ryan brings over seven years of playing experience, including
USTA tournaments, where he competed in the Super-champ category in the 14’s, 16’s,
and 18’s age group. Throughout his four years at Wakeland High School, Ryan was a
valuable member of the varsity tennis team, qualifying for the boy’s doubles 5A UIL
State Tournament his junior year. Following high school, Ryan continued his tennis
career at Collin College and is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
With three years of coaching experience, Ryan emphasizes building the character of
the players while teaching the fundamentals of the game. Rate: $65/hour
