Agent Management

Agent Management is an interface for the monitor, handle, and control agents activities, collaboration and resource usage
between agents for various agent platforms. inDefend Business Administrator Console provides you the facility to manage
agent-related activities with ease.
Filter By Agent Group: Allows you to view details for all agent groups or particular agent group
Filter By Agent: Provide agent group name manually view the details
Filter By OS: Allows you to view agent details for a particular platform i.e. MAC, Windows, Linux and for all OS
Click on Refresh once filter applies to view the agent's detailed list.
Click on Manage Agent Groups button to create new agent group. When you click this button, it navigates you to
Group Management segment.
On Group Management segment, follow below steps:

Agent Name: Name of the Agent. Assigned by the administrator during inDefend Business Client Registration
Host Name: Name of the Host on which agent is working
IP address: Particular IP address for the agent
Group Name: The group to which client belongs, assigned by administrator during inDefend Business Client
Registration
Version: inDefend Business Agent version
Last Connected: (inDefend Business Server regular communicates with inDefend Business Client for regular policy
updates), this information is necessary to identify if any Client is offline and for how long.
Once the group is created, you need to assign the agents to the particular group. For this, follow below procedure:
Download CSV
Click on Download CSV to download the agent-wise reports for the agents. This report will be in tabular format.
Now you can extract the Agent-wise policy synchronization report. In this report, list of all the policies and their
status is available. This report shows that which policy is successfully imposed on the agent machine and which
policy is not successfully synchronized. To download this report, follow below procedure:
1. Select particular agent for which you want to extract policy synchronization report.
2. Click on Policy Sync Status Report button.
Below are some list of symbols and their description which appears in agents tab:

Symbols Description
Indicates that Agent is connected to server
Indicates that agent is not connected to server more than twice the synchronization
time interval
Indicates that agent is not connected to server since more than a day
Click on Details button to view the details for the corresponding agent. It consists of below information and settings for
agents:

ID of the particular agent auto-assigned by inDefend Server during inDefend Business agent
Agent ID

Agent Name Name of the agent assigned by administrator during inDefend Business client registration
Name of the group to which client belongs assigned by administrator during inDefend
Group Name
Business client registration
Windows PC name Name of the Windows PC
Last Connected Time Date and Time of the agent when it was last connected
Agent Version inDefend Business Agent Version
Installed State Installation state of the agent
If enabled, no access block or device insertion notifications on the agent computer.
Stealth Mode
If disabled, the user of that computer is able to see all such notifications
Agent Allowed to Send
Allows user to send the access policy request or not
Requests
Allows all network traffic through as if inDefend Filtering was not present on the computer.
Disable inDefend Network
In this manner, the administrator can troubleshoot network access issues without having to

Outlook Monitoring Setting Allows you to monitor Microsoft Outlook Emails in various ways
Disable QUIC Protocol If Disable, you can monitor UDP network-based applications
Monitoring If enable, UDP network-based monitoring is not possible.

Net BIOS Setting Allows to make settings for network-based shared files through LAN

Parameters Description
If Disable, you can monitor the activities performing through IPv6 network
Disable IPv6
If Enable, you are not able to monitor the acts performing on the IPv6 network.
Enable Print Screen Blocking Allows you to Enable/Disable the agents from taking the Print screen
Allows you to allow/block from copying the file from the clipboard. If Allow, clipboard is

You can select the required options. Click on Save to save the settings.
Click on View Policy Status button to view status overview for applied policy for a particular agent. It consists of below

Click on Report for applied policies to generate the report for the agent with applied policies in PDF format.
