Greetings!

We are the University of the Philippines Lambak (UP Lambak): a duly-recognized organization of University of the
Philippines Diliman students and alumni from Region II, and steered by the pursuit for excellence and regional solidarity
through the initiation of various activities and projects within the region and beyond.

Dedicated to our mandate, we are once again holding the annual regional interscholastic competition, the Valleygsahan, to
create an avenue for talented and intellectual students throughout the region to show their capabilities in various competitions.
Students from various schools in the region will gather to compete to achieve the title of being the best in the following
categories: Quiz Show, Quiz Bee, Debate Competition, Extemporaneous Speaking/Dagliang Talumpati, Essay Writing/Pagsulat ng
Sanaysay, and Poster Making.

Resolute towards its key thrusts, UP Lambak invites you to join VALLEYGSAHAN 2018 on December 17 to 18, 2018 (Monday
and Tuesday) at Santiago East Central School, Santiago City to be one of the judges for the Debate Competition,
Extemporaneous Speaking and Dagliang Talumpati. We have attached the mechanics and the schedule of the said events
in this letter.
