Vegas, Nevada. The company was founded in 1999 by Nick Swinmurn
under the domain name shoesite.com. Nick was in search of a
perfect pair of shoes but was unsuccessful. He then decided to quit
his day job an in this way zappos was founded. Later in july 2009
Amazon acquired Zappos.
