BRAND STORY
For the modern day reader who wants to go on an advententure similar to that of the
famous Huckleberry Finn, look no further than Huckelberry, the used book store complete
with homemade pies. Founded in 2015, Huckleberry is nestled along the historic streets
of Old City Philadelphia. Customers are encouraged to bring their favorite books while
enjoying a slice of delicious homemade pie. Huckleberry also has several shelves of used
books that avid readers can dig their noses into. Open every day except for Mondays,
Huckleberry offers special weekly events for customers and local community members.
Huckleberry also caters to coffee drinkers, featuring drinks named after characters from
the beloved Huckleberry Finn books. At Huckleberry, customers can have their pie and read
it to.

BRAND LOGO
Huckleberry’s logo was designed to combine the brand’s two themes, books and pies.
The circle design is meant to look as if the pie is sitting on a plate ready for a customer.
Within the book there should be the word “TWAIN” to incorporate Mark Twain, the author of

PHOTOGRAPHY
Photos for Huckleberry should be representative of the customer experience. Images
will capture the happy medium of reading, pastries, and avid readers socializing. Photos
should always represent happy customers with feature photos of the special weekly
events. Also, photos should be updated seasonally to represent the seasonal pies.

Illustrations
Illustrations for Huckleberry should have an old fashioned feel. Specifically in the
brochure, the illustrations should be whimsical and have a hand-drawn feel. Huckleberry’s
illustrations should look as if they came from a treasured book and have very fine lines.
