GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The entire event will be handled by Mr. Ralph Melchor B. Lacang, the adviser for the E-Sports
Club from the Senior High School Department.
2. Every event/category won will be converted as points toward the winner’s respective Barangay.
3. The tournament will be exclusive for MOBILE LEGENDS only.
4. The tournament will be held for 3 days starting from August 14-August 16, 2019.
5. Players for E-sports in every Barangay should not be a member or be affiliated with any other
sports/events. Members who have dual events would automatically be disqualified.
6. Guests and spectators would need to give an admission fee of Php 10.00 for the entrance for the
venue during the tournament. An in-game projection would be provided for the viewers who
would comply with the admission.
The admission fee is part of the Income Generating Project (IGP) for the various events throughout
the school year.

MOBILE LEGENDS Tournament: April 14-16, 2019

I. The event will be exclusive for a tournament on Mobile Legends. The format would be in a
round-robin set-up with 2 rounds: a. Elimination rounds and b. Final round (Point system – 2
Highest teams competes).

II. Elimination Rounds: Total Games 6 (August 14-15, 2019 at the Elementary AV Hall)
For both Open and Mixed Categories

Every team will play 3 one round matches each, for every game won 2 points would be awarded
and the losing team with 1 point. After all the 12 games would be played the two teams with the
highest points will proceed to the Final round.

III. Final Round: Total Games 3 (August 16, 2019 at the Alumni AV Hall)

The highest and second highest teams in terms of points during the elimination round would
automatically qualify for the Finals. The two teams will face each other in a 3 round series
where one team needs to win 2 rounds in order to be crowned as the Champions.

IV. Every Team must provide their own gadgets.


(Cellphone, Tablet, Charger, Extension wire, Powerbank, Data / WiFi stick and the likes)

V. The tournament will have a free flowing time set-up (no fixed schedule) as some matches would
take longer than others. With this all members of every team should always be on standby as
penalties would be issued for teams who delay the schedule, refer to item number 3 on the
grounds on disqualifications.

VI. August 15-16, 2019 call time 7:30am, official start of tournament 8:30am.
All players and teams must be at the specified venue on or before the time.
Guidelines:

1. This event will have two categories:


A. Open – All Men (6 members)
Five members, with one substitute
B. Mixed – 3 Males and 2 Females (6 members)
Five members, with one substitute (either male or female)
2. Every Barangay would send a team composed of 5 members, all men for the open category, and
another 5 members, with 3 males and 2 females for the mixed category.
3. Substitution of players can only be done before or after a match. In-game substitutions are strictly
prohibited. Any teams who wish to have a substitution must inform the facilitator before the start
of their next match.
4. Team captains for every Barangay would need to submit their crew list to the facilitator on or
before August 12, 2019 and not beyond 5:00pm, a day prior to the tournament. Format for the
crew list is attached below. Please also indicate the Names of every member together with their
picture (ID pic would be best but any formal picture will also do).
5. The members listed and approved by the Barangay’s Hermana are considered final and
irreplaceable. Players who participate in the tournament who are not part of the crew list would
be disqualified, only the listed players would be allowed to participate.
6. Players from one category are not allowed to be a member of another category. Automatic
disqualification of the Barangay would be effective once proven that players from one category
would play in the other.
7. August 14, 2019 one representative from each Barangay, preferably the team captain or the
sports manager, would need to attend the event briefing and drawing of lots for the tournament.
This will be held at room 307F, and the meeting would serve as a roll call for the different teams
and to finalize their crew list and match schedules.
8. The game would be in a Custom set-up, so before the match all team members must be part of
their party and wait for their game. The Captains would toss a coin to determine who picks first.

Grounds for Disqualifications:

1. During the game, any loss of Data or WiFi connection, the facilitator will issue a pause for the
team to connect back to the game. The facilitator will only give 5 minutes total pausing time for
every game after the grace period runs out the team who fails to connect would automatically be
disqualified.
In the case that both teams fail to reconnect, both teams would then be issued with a loss.
2. Once the game begins, both teams are advised not to use foul language, violence or any behavior
that displays bad decorum and sportsmanship. Teams who do not uphold their decorum during
the match will be given1 warning and another 3 consecutive repetitions of the same act would
result in the disqualification of the team.
The same rule applies to the spectators regardless of which Barangay they belong to.
3. A 10minute grace period would be given to both teams for them to contact and gather their
members before the start of the match, failure to complete the roster with the specified time
would result to the team’s disqualification.
4. Other actions that for the facilitator might degrade, obstruct and hinder the flow of the
tournament
