What is Algebra?

1.)Algebra is a branch of mathematics that uses mathematical statements to describe relationships between things
that vary over time.

2.) The part of mathematics in which letters and other general symbols are used to represent numbers and quantities
in formulae and equations.

What is Algebraic Expression

1.)In mathematics, an algebraic expression is an expression built up from integer constants, variables, and
the algebraic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisionand exponentiation by an exponent that is
a rational number)

2.) An algebraic expression is a mathematical phrase that can contain ordinary numbers, variables (like x or y) and
operators (like add,subtract,multiply, and divide).

Variables

1.) Avariable is any factor, trait, or condition that can exist in differing amounts or types. An
experiment usually has three kinds of variables: independent, dependent, and controlled. The
independent variable is the one that is changed by the scientist.
2.) Variable is a symbol that represents a quantity in a mathematical expression, as used in many sciences

Even Numbers
1.)An even number is an integer which is "evenly divisible" by two. This means that if the integer is divided by 2, it
yields no remainder. Zero is an even number because zero divided by two equals zero. Even numbers can be
either positive or negative.
2.) An even number is an integer which is "evenly divisible" by two. This means that if the integer is divided by 2,

Odd Numbers
1.)An odd number is an integer which is not a multiple of two. If it is divided by two the result is a fraction. One is the
first odd positivenumber. The next four bigger odd numbers are three, five, seven, and nine.
2.) Any integer that cannot be divided exactly by 2 is an odd number.

Prime Numbers
1.)A prime number is a whole number greater than 1, whose only two whole-number factors are 1 and itself.
2.) A Prime Number can be divided evenly only by 1, or itself. And it must be a whole number greater than 1.

Father of Algebra
The father of algebra is Diophantus of Alexandria

Literal Coeficient
1.)A literal cofficient is any variable in an algebraic expression. For example, in "21xyz", x, y, and z are literal
coefficients.
2.) literal coefiffitient is a variable that follows the number
Numerical Coeficient
1.)The constant multiplicative factors attached to the variables in an expression are known as Numerical Coefficient.

2.) The number which reproduces the variables is known as "Numerical coefficient".
