Good Morning. I am Carlo Joseph S.

Reglos, an incoming 5th year Accountancy student, a candidate for Student

Central Council’s Auditor.

We all know that money is the lifeblood of any organization. In our university, councils and organizations collect
contributions from their subordinates to support their ventures, and financial reports are being generated thereafter to
show where the money was spent on and how much is left. With this, my platform would focus on the establishment
of the Executive Committee on Audit under the Student Central Council. The committee would include all the auditors
from the different councils and organizations. This committee would not only benefit the councils but also the student
body since this would promote independence of the auditors from the preparers of financial reports, thus giving
assurance on the reliability of such reports. This committee would also provide basic audit lectures and training for
auditors who are not in accounting related course, and is suggested to have a Certified Public Accountant as
Supervisor.

For my personal advocacy, I always believe that as Marian Students, we are expected to grow not only academically
but also spiritually, that is why we are expected to leave the four pillars of this university as an Excellent Marian
Missionary. Yes, Missionary it is. And so, as a Youth Leader and Minister of the CICM Campus Mission Volunteers of
CICM School Network System I will make a move to coordinate and propose for more activities that would cater the
need for spiritual development of the 21st century students. It is true that we already have masses, Christian faith
classes and recollections; these are far too much already but having activities that are geared in targeting the
spirituality of the youth today such as Youth Jam, Praise and Worship, Youth Encounter and Congresses would be
beneficial.

Let me end this with a statement from Sheryl Sandberg, “Leadership is about making others better as a result of your
presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.”
