 The craziest thing I ever for love is just letting

If you ask people what is love? You are going to have
lots of different answers. We all have our own definition
of the word love.
Science and medical people:
 a wildly misunderstood although highly
desirable malfunction of the heart which
weakens the brain, causes eyes to sparkle,
cheeks to glow, and heart to beat faster.
 A form of amnesia when a girl forgets.. there
are 1.2 billion other guys in the world.
 Love is the seventh sense of human that
destroys all the six senses and makes the
person nonsense.

What is your own definition of love? Saan mo kinuha
ang definition na yan?
Most of the ideas and pictures we have of love… we are
able to get from the movies we’ve watch, or maybe
from the songs we listened to, or maybe novels, books
or blogs we’ve read, or from conversations and own
experiences. So if meron kang masamang karanasan
about love.. then maybe your definition of it will be
have our own sources. Now the question is:
What do you believe about love?
Where is that coming from?
Importanteng malaman natin ‘to dahil alam naman
natin na “what you believe will determine how you
live.” It will determine your consequences and the
outcome of your love story.
We all want to have a good love story. But, sabi nga ng
isang pastor… “Our decisions not our intentions will
determine our destination.”
When it comes to love, sincerity is not enough!

There’s a lot of misconceptions out there resulting not
only to broken relationships, not only hurting the two
people involved in the relationship and the people
outside that relationship- parents, friends.. not only
that but also hurting their relationship with God.
4 misconceptions about love.
1. Love equals sex.
In our time, in our culture right now… the two
words are almost interchangeable! Meaning you can
you the word love and it means sex. You say sex and it
means love for other people. This is very common to
younger people. That’s how we came into expressions
like “let’s make love” and what that exactly means is
“let’s have sex”. So, with that, we tend to gage the
seriousness of the relationship with the physical
involvement of the couple involved.
So, pag kayo na at hindi pa kayo naghoholding hands..
ay hindi pa close yan..
pag nagyayakapan na, nagkikiss.. uy close na sila!
sweeeeeeeet!
We tend to gage the intensity of love with the physical
intimacy.
BUT LOVE IS NOT SEX!!!
2. Love equals Happily Ever After!
It is a misconception that You will never be
happy and you will never be complete and you will
never feel fulfilled until you meet Miss Right or Mr.
Right. Sa tagalog.. “abnormal ang buhay mop ag wala
kang lovelife.” Yung para kang abnormal. Para kang may
sakit na itatanong mon a lang sa sarili mo. “ what’s
wrong with me? Bakit wala pa akong gf/bf?” so
pressured na pressured ka.
Lord what’s wrong with me? Sila dun twosome, yung
iba threesome, foursome, ako dito ganito pa din..
handsome” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sino sa inyo ang naniniwala na you can be single and
happy at the same time? You can be fulfilled!
3. Love equals feelings!
Love is an emotion you will suddenly feel and
the moment you feel that there’s nothing you can do.
Logic and reason will not apply. And all you have to do is
say yes. Even if it’s wrong!!
LOVE is not an emotion! The bible will tell you that love
is a decision more than an emotion! Of course there’s
an emotion involved but that’s not applied primarily
about emotion.
Emotion is very unstable! It suddenly changed! Emotion
cannot be the basis of love! And that’s the mistake of a
lot of people. They spend thousands of money para sa
kasal, they will make a vow. The after ilang months..
they want to kill each other! SPLIT! BREAK UPS!
DIVORSE!
4. LOVE is god.
The bible says that GOD is LOVE but for the
young people it’s the other way around. Love is god.
God is somebody you worship.
Love is somebody you surrender to.
God is somebody that you acknowledge in your life and
put first thing in every decision.
God is somebody that gives meaning to you.
For some people.. for them.. love is god! They are
willing to surrender their body, willing to surrender
their future, willing to sacrifice family, friends, thieir
convictions. And they are willing to let go of anything
just to have this god called love.
Love is not god! God is! If you have GOD, you will have
everything you need! You don’t have to run away from
God and sin away in order to experience love. In fact, if
you want to experience love.. then you need to
experience God ‘coz God is love!
Imposible para sa’yo na maintindihan at maexperience
ang love apart from Him.
GOD is the source.
There is so many kind of love that is not real! There are
so imitations! We can easily be fooled!
If really want to know what true love is.. you will easily
distinguish if that’s from God or not. Is this going to last
or not? Is this special or bola bola? We will be able to
know that’s why the bible says “this is real Love”.

How will you know what a straight line is? You need a
ruler.
Basically, what he is saying is that we need to have a
standard where we measure everything or else it will be
chaos. If we don’t have a standard of a straight line,
somebody would draw a circle and he would say that
“that is a straight line”. And there’s no one of us to
know if he is telling the truth kung walang standard. But
if there’s a standard… it is easy to know.
The same thing with love. What is the standard? Who is
the standard? What is real love where we can measure
and filter and test the love that we are trying to
entertain. And the bible says… “if you want to define
what is love in one word… that word is JESUS. Jesus is
not only the source, He is also the standard where we
filter where we compare if this is real love or not
because the bible says.. “THIS IS REAL LOVE!”. Not that
we love God, but that He sent His Son Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ love for us is pure, holy, sacrificial, extravagant,
and eternal! That is the standard of love!
