We learnt about BSE and the top list companies which performs in BSE. BSE has top
30 companies .We also learnt about the base value ,base price and DOLLEX30 of BSE
SENSEX. In addition to it ,we learnt MULTI COMMODITY MARKET(MCX). It offers options
trading in gold and futures. We also attended few mock tests sessions which was very useful to
to analyse what we have learnt in BSE derivatives book provided. Testing of skills was based on
five major topics which is essential for the candidates to clear the NISM EXAM . Those topics
were capital market, futures & options, Indexes, BSE .

Mutual funds is an investment Vehicle made up of pool of many collected from


investors. Learnt about the different types of mutual funds like liquid funds, debt funds, equits
funds , hybrid funds and the span of investment in different types of mutual fund. The period for
investing in liquid fund is less than a year ,Debt fund is 1-3 years, equity fund is for a period of
more than years and hybrid for 3-5 years. We learnt about systematic investment plan which is a
scheme offered by many companies to invest small amount periodically (weekly, monthly
,quarterly) and the SIP CALCULATOR helps to calculate wealth gain and expected returns for
the monthly SIP investment.
