Chair-Structural Analysis
Procedure:

1: Open Ansys Workbench.

2: Open static structure.

3. Made a geometry of chair. For this purpose Sketch seat plate on ZX-plane. Start design modeller
and select unit’s mm. Select ZX-plane and draw a chair geometry

4. After the geometry , click on the mesh option and then generate mesh.
5. After meshing made fixed supports by right clicking on the static structure
5.After making fixed support on chair Applying force of 800N on chaire on the upper part as shown in
figure
6. After applying force then check it for stress and strain Deformation button shown on the top left
corner and apply stress and strain as shown in the figure and then check the solution for stress and
strain applied.

RESULTS

MAX DEFORMATION IS 0.006mm
