What is our legacy?

By: Princess Precious G. Nepomuceno

Did you ever dream of being someone someday? Let see for example
an idol, celebrity or even a family member well, surprisingly everybody in
the world thought that thought. I love how people look forward to meeting
their idol or being their idol. Some people love how their relatives, children
and close friends imitate their own idols I know their just trying to be close
to their idols by being them. I know that day that with just a pen and paper
I could inspire a young soul without even meeting that soul my passion
started when my puppy died I made a poem or story classifying my feelings
on the topic of my dog dying, when my mom red it I realized that I had an
art in writing so I made more making stories and showing them again one
word at a time. There’s someone that had a talent but misused it that man is
Alexander Hamilton he made bad choices and didn’t realize that he wasn’t
the one that controls his legacy …Time does, unlike us humans, time
doesn’t stop itself it doesn’t wait for you to finish it doesn’t stop for anyone
even the universe can’t stop time it can only make it slower, faster or reverse
it. Alexander Hamilton was more focused on his legacy what people see of
him at his final moments “the duel with Aaron Bur” he realized that he
never did control his legacy so there was nothing left to do but aim towards
the sky. That put a question in my head “If the first secretary of the
United States government got forgotten but was brought back to life by
Lin Manuel Miranda then could I ever be like him as a role model?
…My journey with writing I would never say easy but challenging my
thoughts on most of them were either incomplete or just right…I never
thought that someone would actually like them considering a teacher but
still. I love how writing could inspire me to be better, to be greater, and to be
a writer. Even though I can’t attend most of the activities the school has to
offer but I can say even if I can’t attend certain activities I could still
serve the school in my own way even without any help. How do I write like
I’m running out of time?
Because my legacy is waiting for me to succeed, my legacy is also
running out of time and if I do nothing of it my legacy would disappear.
