I. INTRODUCTION

Everyday activities require energy to perform them effectively. However, this energy
results into another form which we can call as “force”. Force is then being taught in
schools particularly in Physics but then we, the students, don’t recognize the
importance and application of its laws and fundamentals. Anywhere, we can see the real
life application of the different fundamental aspects related to Physics. From the
moment we go to school, from the vehicles we used to ride, running, or just punching
your sleeping classmate, force can be already witnessed.

Our group designed a toy called “>>>>>>>>>>>>” to show the physics application

II. MATERIALS

Cardboard
Illustration Board
Paper Cups
Popsicle Sticks
Bottle Cap
Marbles
Rubber Band
Barbeque Sticks
Screw
Glue Sticks
Scissors
Cutter
III. PROCEDURES

A. BASE

1. Cardboard and illustration board were cut accordingly to the desired size.
2. Base was elevated intentionally for the marbles’ free-roll.
3. At the front part of the base, we placed a maze to control the direction of the
rolling marble.
B. BASKETBALL HOOP
1. Basketball ring or hoop was improvised. The paper cup was used alternatively
by making a hole on its base.
2. Cardboards were cut into squares and designed as the backboard.
3. Carton box was used as the base for the ring and backboards by cutting it with
a diagonal side for balance.
4. There are four rings in total to promote good challenge for players. All rings
correspond to two points excluding the tallest ring having three for a point,
since it is assumed to have a lower possibility to shoot a ball in it.
C. CATAPULT
1. The shooting medium was purposely 360°-free-rotated for the target rings.
2. Between to bars was a popsicle stick with a bottle cap controlled by a rubber
band as the catapult to help the players for shooting.
