it is often said that one-act plays are just the same as short stories, but what many people

dont know is
that they are actually different from one another. there are three forms of literature. plays are the
oldest, going back to ancient greek. novels were introduced in the 18th century, while short stories
came later in the beginning of 19th century. plays are meant to be performed on a stage. it has actors
and actresses who have memorized their lines, before a live audience. in a one-act play, there are two
aspects that are important to the play. these are the technical and non technical aspect. the technical
aspect includes the equipments, material, and structure plan. while, the non technical aspect includes
their acting and directing skills.

The play “fallen” is directed by ma. Emalin pilotos. The story was based on the movie, titanic. The props
that are used in the play was built and used well. They also provided a powerpoint presentation for us to
see where and what is going on. The boat, the main prop, is made out of Styrofoam and paint. They also
used a blue cloth to represent the water. when it comes to their costumes, they’re complete, from
actors to props holder, everyone has a costume. Sound effects are also provided. The play was executed
properly though in some parts like the blockings, showing of emotion and the transition of the story are
a bit messy.

All in all, the performance of the other group deserves a big round of applause. They spend their time in
making sure that their props are in order. They executed a simple yet interesting play. ……
