 How to Accurately Determine HPS
- HPS is High Point of the Shoulder at natural fold of neck
/Shoulder seam or edge. Decided by correct HPS as below
instruction.

First of all, Garment lay flat (Underarm and sideseam

aligned flat as much as possible

Highest point would be HPS after we put all wrinkles and

pleat naturally free From Shoulder to Bust/Chest.

In case of Banding/Trim at Neck, Normally SEAM would be

HPS, in case of inside binding/Clean finish at Neck,Nomally
EDGE would be HPS.

‘Imaginary line’ at HPS can be checked as neck drop, neck

width however HPS point must be same.

HPS is a standard of all most every measurement starts so if

unclear about it, we must call out to TD or buyer for double
checking.

 How to prepare & properly handle a
Garment for measuring
• Table for Measuring must be big enough to open garment fully and flat/clean not to have any other
influence for measuring.

• Every Single Measurement would be doing during Garment laid flat.

- Natural position/Free of Tension
- Free of wrinkles and creases

• Garment shouldn’t be stretched out except in case of POM requested.

• Take extra care on measurement points in case we have shirring and pleating.

• All garments should be measured zipper, button, and overlapped closed and Measure after placing
button at the end of button hole in case of shank button.

• Difficult to measure due to thicker seam allowance, adjust garment to be flat.

• All garments should be measured at Measuring tape as flat but we measure AH cir. and Rise measuring
tape with standing.

• If we have any measurement issue with buyer, we must call out to TD or buyer for double checking.
