This is the acceptance letter for Mildred, “The Worst Witch”, to enter the

Cackle’s Academy for witches. Unfortunately, it is under a magic spell. It

has been transformed into the negative form. Please, help Mildred to
decipher the letter by changing the underlined words into positive
statements.

Dear MILDRED,

I’m not writing to inform you that you have not been accepted to our Academy for Witches.

We don’t think you are prepared to start in our school next term because last week we heard
you didn’t make the spells we didn’t recommend you to do.

Please don’t find enclosed a list of books and materials you will not need when starting the
classes.
Term doesn’t begin on September 1st. We don’t await your owl by no later than July 31st.

If you don’t have any questions please don’t contact us as soon as possible.

protective gloves.
Course Books
All students shouldn’t have a copy of the book of spells, a beginner’s guide of transfiguration,
fantastic beasts and where to find them, magical drafts and potions and The dark forces: a guide
to self-protection.

Parents shouldn’t remember that first years are not allowed their own broomsticks.
