BEAUTY QUEEN FAREWELL SPEECH

Being crowned as Binibining San Quintin 2018 seems like a dream to me, and
tonight, I am about to close this beautiful chapter in my life. It has truly been a memorable
and surreal year filled with adventures, challenges, growth, tears and smiles. I'm
extremely grateful to all the people who have stood by me throughout this journey. Thank
you to everyone at the Binibining San Quintin organization, specially to Mami Darla for
having so much patience to all the binibinis. All of your awesome opportunities have
forever changed my perspective on life.
To Rustan Viduya, my makeup artist, you truly made me beautiful all throughout
my journey as a binibini. To barangay Poblacion Zone 1, thank you for giving me the
wonderful chance to represent our barangay. To my supporters, and friends. You have
given me nothing but positive support and that means so much to me.
To Mama, Papa, Kuya Dondon, and Ate Debby, who've been there every single step
of the way, you are my inspiration and I love you. Last but not the least, all these won't be
possible without God the Almighty. Your masterpiece called "world" is amazing. And to
the next lucky young lady who will get to wear the crown, enjoy each moment, every
second and everybody you will meet. This will be a once in a lifetime experience that you
will take with you forever. Ako si Danna Bon C. Mendoza, Binibining San Quintin 2018.

TOWN
My town is a very special town. It has quite a lot of interesting things and it is one
of those places where it has a variety of people. You have your really country people, and
you have your upscale city people.
My hometown is called San Quintin. I was born and raised here and I can say it is
definitely my favorite place. I cannot tell that it is a very big province. The town is both
traditional and modern. I call it traditional because there still are many festivals
celebrated by the locals, like the rangga-rangga festival. Yet, it is modern, as it is starting
to be developed just like other province having much more sophisticated infrastructure.
San Quintin is also special as it offers many tourist attractions. An example is the
Dipalo river, where people from other towns visit because of its clear water. Another is
tourist attraction is a close vicinity which is the Caraballo mountains, where people mostly
go because of its stunning scenery.
Among of all the many places I have been to around the Philippines, I think San
Quintin is one of the best. It is a wonderful place to visit – not crowded and not polluted.
San Quintin is a town that is relaxing to stay in. On top of that, people of San Quintin,
which we refer to as Quintinians, are very accommodating, hospitable, and very lovable
which makes me love my town even more. I can not wait for my town to be known all over
the Philippines, and if that happens, I’ll be the proudest binibini ever.
