Design and Methodologies

This chapter includes The Design of the study, The

Setting of the study, The Respondents, The Computation of

Slovin formula and Stratified Random Sampling.

Design of the Study

The researchers used the Descriptive research to

conduct this study entitled The Impact of Homework to

Senior High Student in Montessori Professional College of

Asia, Pasig Branch.

Setting of the Study

The researchers will focus only in Grade 11 and Grade

12, General Academic Strand students and Information

Communication Technology students of Montessori

Professional Colleges, Pasig Branch. The researchers will

give a survey sheets for 35 students, 15 from Grade 11 A2

GAS , 10 from Grade 11 ICT and 10 persons for Grade 12 M4

GAS. This study will happen inside the campus of Montessori

Professional Colleges so that we will be safe while we are

doing the research survey.

Respondents

The Respondents of this study were chosen through

stratified random sampling. The researchers will give a

survey sheets for 35 students, 15 from Grade 11 A2 GAS, 10

from Grade 11 ICT and 10 persons for Grade 12 M4 GAS at

Montessori Professional Colleges, Pasig Branch.

 The Table 1 shows the number of Population in section

A2, M4 and M1 with the total of 125 students. The

researchers made use of 25 General Academic Strand students

and 10 Information Communication Technology at Montessori

Profesional Colleges, Pasig. The respondents section is A2,

M1 Grade 11 and M4 Grade 12 students.
