Projectors
Our projection heads can be supplied for incident "E" (examination of the surface) and transmitted "D" (examination of the profile,
outline) light. The following advantages make their use on various machine-tools possible:

 Small size
 Light weight
 Simple tube attachment (Ø 25 or Ø 30 mm)
 Other means of attachment on request
 Real image

Our optical system guarantees a very good distortion less optical image. All types are equipped with light shields to assure their
use in brightly lit rooms.
Our illuminators for transmitted "D" and incident "E" light make the solution of a difficult projection problem easier (small space,
dark coloured objects, working conditions).

Comparison templates (MA...-P)

A special guide allows the use of comparison templates.

Mat films with all standard symbols are available. These films are
placed in a double plexi glas-plate. They make comparison
measurements possible even during a machining process (e.g. profile
comparison on tool grinders).
A simple coincidence system allows the centering of these comparison
templates in the projectors.

Angled projector (MA...-C)

All projectors of the MA 200 / 220 / 230 / 240 and 250 series can be

Measuring and comparison software
(only delivered with video measuring systems)

VideoPIC Video software

The basic software VideoPIC was created to observe a live video image:

 A centred and fixed crosshair can be activated. The functionality is

especially useful when a positioning, alignment or centring is needed.

Video images can be saved and each operation can thus be documented.

VideoGEN - VideoGENsym Video software

VideoGEN and VideoGENsym are softwares to perform precise positioning,

alignment or centring of work pieces, devices as well as engravings:

 Those line generators, controlled by keyboard, overlay 3 line pairs

(vertical and horizontal) on a high quality digital video image.

 With the basic and universal software VideoGEN, the lines are
independently movable in the defined area of interest.

The VideoGENsym is dedicated to special applications where a coupled and

symmetrical displacement is needed.

VideoMES Video software

VideoMES is a simple software solution to perform angle and distance

measurements:

 In the mode "angular measurement", a rotating crosshair, overlaid to the

video image, shows directly the angular position of the piece.

 In the mode "distance measurement", the horizontal, vertical and diagonal

distances, measured between two moving points, are displayed on the
screen.

 The system allows multiple calibrations and thus the use of different
objectives.

VideoSYMBOL Video software

VideoSYMBOL was made to display calibrated symbols on a live picture

 Improved camera parameters, white balance, image storage with or

without the lines.

 Colour and line thickness of the crosshair adjustable, for optimum

contrast.

 Free positioning and orientation of the symbols (with angle indicator).

- 16 -
VideoRET Measuring and comparison software

Display of high quality video image (with Marcel Aubert video camera).

 Import DXF files for comparison with video image.

 Angle Measurement by 4 points.

 Distance measurement between 2 points.

 Zoom-in/out on the whole working surface.

 Improved camera parameters, white balance, save image of the work

field (jpg, bmp).

Videocad EVO Measuring and comparison software

 Free placing of work pieces with aligning and positioning of the drawing.
 High measurement accuracy thanks to magnifications suiting your
requirements.
 Large measuring capacity defined by the moving range of the cross table
(up to 300mm).
 Display resolution 0.0001 mm.
 Optical magnification from 5x to 1200x.
 Live numerical zoom with automatic adjustment of the drawing and the
video image.
 Digitalization, display and recording of the form deviations.
 Best contrast with incident light due to the sensitivity of the video
equipment.
 Direct access to the main functions (individually programmable) with the
keyboard shortcuts.
 New construction and drawing functions.
 Digital display of the coordinates of the cross table according to the work
piece.
 Saving of the video image including drawing and measurements in
format: jpg / bmp

Metric Measuring software

 Display and measuring of an analogue or digital video images on the PC,

both in live and in still (freeze) mode.
 The displayed images can be measured and added with text, circles, lines,
saved in standard file formats (*.jpg, *.tif, *.bmp etc.) and processed in
other Window-programs.
 The value for measuring can be saved in an ASCII-file.
 3 different thicknesses of lines and 6 measuring colours are at disposal.
After each measurement a new colour can be chosen.
 For creating an own mask, the measuring can be switched off.

M2
Measuring software
 The measuring software M2 is the right tool to be used directly at the
production place.
 The system contains all necessary functions for 2D and ½ measurements
and can also quantify highness differences on the vertical Z-axis.
 Different measuring panels (overall and partial displays, results report,
and metrology record) assure an efficient measurements control.
 The control processes are automatically programmed with the first work
piece inspection. Measurement values are integrated in clear reports
(based on DIN and ISO norms) and data can be exported via the USB or
Bluetooth ports.

Measuring functions

• Point • Form
• Line • Rotary axe
• Radius • Incremental / absolute
• Circle • Intersection
• Angle (vertex point) • Constructions
• Minimum / maximum • Creation of element

Calculator M3
 Combined with digital camera, the M3 software is a powerful image
analysis system from the last generation which can quickly perform a
measurement set. Easy to use as a smart phone, the operating interface
runs via touch screen.
 The system contains all necessary functions for 2D measurements and
can also quantify highness differences on the vertical Z-axis.
 Different windows (partial, global viewing, results report, metrology
record) can be displayed simultaneously and offer an efficient process
overview.
 The control processes are automatically programmed with the first work
piece inspection.
 Measurement values are integrated in clear reports (based on DIN and
ISO norms) and data can be directly exported on the network.

Software features and functions

 Intelligent image processing for measuring 2D rule

 Constructions and relations from measured elements
 Level and orientation function
 Partial programs
 Limit testing according to DIN/ISO
 Multiple coordinate systems
 In several languages
 Data export and expression with diagram
 Dimensioning of the partial opinion
 Bit map memory with and without result of measurement

Calculator QC 300 with video picture Control panel:

The QC300 combines the basic user interface of the QC200 with an
improved programmation of the measuring process (image processing is
optional). 6 illuminators can be activated directly on the monitor. The colour
‘Touch-Screen’ monitor displays the measurement results in a clear and
optimal way.
The innovative control panel makes the QC300 easy to use.
All measurements are automatically stored and can be saved with position
and shape tolerances.

Data:
The picture of the workpiece as well as the measured data can be saved on
an external disk via the USB interface.

Image processing:
Image processing functions are available in the Video Mode.
Two different reticules could be chosen, as well as the automatic detection
of measurement points.
In ‘Reticule’ mode, as soon as the table is not moving anymore, some
measurement points are automatically taken after the necessary detection
time (adjustable).

In ’Auto’ Mode, measurement points are detected as soon as the edge is

located in the measuring circle. With this function, the view of the operator
doesn’t affect the measurement anymore.

Protocol:
Results are clearly displayed in a measurements report and can be
transmitted via different integrated interfaces (Centronics, R232, USB).
