    A major earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 occurred Kermadec Islands,
    New Zealand on 2019 June 19, 2019 at 03:02 PM (Philippine Standard Time) located
    at 30.8 oS, 177.4oW with depth of 10 km. No destructive tsunami threat exists based
    on available data.

    This is for information purposes only and there is no tsunami threat to the Philippines
    from this earthquake.
