Caliper Imaging tool in just 13.5 ft [4.11 m].
This minimum configuration, along with the
optional Gradiomanometer and UNIGAGE*

RST and SCMT tools provide answers in
real time.

Where is the production coming from, X500

and what is being produced?
The PS Platform service was run in a well
having 5-in. casing, a deviation of 31° and
unwanted water and gas production. The
objective was to obtain a flow profile and
determine water and gas entry points.
The well was logged using a string com-
posed of one weight bar, the PS Platform
Basic Measurement sonde equipped with X600
telemetry module and a Sapphire strain
gauge, the Flow-Caliper Imaging tool and,
because three-phase flow was expected,
a Gradiomanometer sensor. The total oper-
ating time was 3 hr.
