California Fuchsia Characteristics

The California Fuchsia is found
Location: Permaculture garden behind Courtside;
throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
around House 7
and is a common garden plant. They
withstand high heat and bright sun Season: Flowers in summer and fall

on Athenian’s campus. The Fuchsia o Native
attracts hummingbirds and other insects
such as leaf chewers and caterpillars.
They are also a favorite of many
gardeners as they are said to be rabbit and deer proof.
