    Yellow Star Thistle Characteristics

    from Chile. They decrease biodiversity

    they begin to grow. This hurts the entire
    ecosystem and can lead to extinction of
    species. Found across America, but most common in California and Washington, the yellow star
    thistle prefers sun light and dry, open, disturbed areas, a common habitat on Mt. Diablo.
