Great Egret Characteristics

The Great Egret is native to Europe and

Their diet consists of small fish,
amphibians, insects and shrimp. The Season: Winter
Great Egret is found throughout the
Americas and prefer to live in marsh-like
areas with water. Because of their big
wingspan, Great Egrets fly slowly but
gracefully. They are typically only on
Athenian's campus in the wet seasons. They often perch on big objects like wood posts or
driftwood to hunt for insects in the water.
