The Commission on Youth of the Diocese of Maasin will be sending 400 young delegates (parish
youth leaders, campus youth leaders, young professionals, youth formators and youth
coordinators) to represent our diocese to the National Youth Day 2019 in Cebu City on April 23-
28, 2019.

The National Youth Day (NYD) is an event where the Philippine Church expresses, in very
concrete ways, her great love for the young. It is an occasion offered for young people to celebrate
and deepen their faith, and a special moment of coming together as one body, united in a journey
towards intimacy with Christ.

In connection with this, in behalf of the Commission on Youth of the Diocese of Maasin, may I
therefore request from your good office to please excuse the following students from their classes
to participate the NYD 2019 from April 23-28, 2019:
