SDC - ABOUT
Registered under Indian Trust Act 1882 and with members/partners/associates in almost all the
states of India SDC – SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CLUB is a development organization incorporated
by some well known social activists of India. An ISO 9001-2015 certified organization SDC
provides a wide range of effective services and support to its members and bridge the gap
between various stakeholders of social change. In a very short span of time the organization
delivered high end services to its member organizations and with a key focus on skill
development sector it also organized various training programs and workshops for medium and
small players in various states of the country. SDC is also a training partner of NIESBUD, MoSD,
GoI and a member of Quality Council of India.

Social Development Club aspires to be the biggest content hub of India for skill and
entrepreneurship development programs. Government of India and associated ministries are
trying hard to standardize the entire skill development ecosystem and thus most of the
National Occupational Standards and Qualifications Packs are either designed or in the process.
Understanding the need and importance of curriculum and training Aide we have developed a
number of curriculums for various programs including PMKVY, DDU-GKY, MES, ASAP etc. and
for sectors including, but not limited to Hospitality, Apparel, Automotive, Beauty and Wellness,
BFSI, Capital Goods, Construction, Power, Agriculture, Healthcae, ITeS, Logistics, Media, Mining,
Retail, Security, Telecom, etc.
 .

PROCESS – WE FOLLOW
STEP – 01: RESEARCH

After getting the work order our team conducts a secondary research on the Qualification Pack
and Requirements, including the subject on which course needs to be developed. Apart from
that we interact with the client to understand the expectation like level of language, uses of
images, formats, activities etc.

STEP – 02: INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Based on the inputs we first create the TDP (Training Delivery Plan) and Session Plan, you may
call it instructional design. After getting it done, we deliver the TDP to client for approval and
once it gets approved we enter into Step – 03, i.e. Development.

STEP – 03: DEVELOPMENT

Based on the instructional design our developers develop the content keeping in mind client
specific requirements and the level of target readers. We incorporate all the segments of NOS
including domain skills, Occupational Safety & Soft Skills. We also create and incorporate
various classroom activities including but not limited to Reflections, Role Plays, Case Studies,
Learning Games etc.

STEP – 04: REVIEW BY CONTENT EXPERT

The content expert review the entire content, look and feel of curriculum and checks for typos,
NOS coverage, level of languages, plagiarism and also the copyright issues (if any). The content
development expert makes all necessary changes and submits the final content to Subject
Matter Expert.

STEP – 04: FINAL TESTING BY SME

The subject matter expert then verifies all the technical aspects of the content and provides
his/her feedback, based on the same the content development expert makes all necessary
changes and after implementing all the changes in close interaction with SME the content
expert delivers the content to the client.

We are always open to suggestions and corrections based on the feedback provided by our
esteemed client. We always try to work like an integrated and internal team of our esteemed
clients.

SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS

We understand that some of the domains are very much

technical in nature and content developers can’t ensure that the
content is technically perfect. In such a case we always tae
assistance from our large pool of Subject Matter Experts and we
get the manual verified from them prior to delivery.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER: MRS SHITAL NAGPAL

With an extenssive experience of more than a decade in creating

Flowcharts, Data Flow Diagrams(DFDs), Entity-Relationship Diagram (ER-
Diagrams), test cases for in functional testing (Manual), Blueprints,
Milestones, Storyboards, Manuals, Test Items, Data files, PowerPoint
presentations that includes custom animations, etc. Mrs Shital Nagpal is
also having expertise in Quality Check of the content. Shital worked with
NIIT Ltd. In the capacity of Manager - Product Design and Content
Management and in the year 2017 she left the company, but still she is
working with the company as Freelance Instructional Designer.

CONTENT EXPERT: VISHWENDRA N. THAKUR

During his journey towards excellence he was the part of various social
development projects which is now known to the country and the world
as well. He was the part of Mission – 2007, Microsoft unlimited potential
program, SamsungDigitall hope incubator, Akshargyan, Microsoft MS-
Office 2010 and he also worked for various other organizations like
Population Foundation of India, OneWorld South Asia, Nokia, Samsung,
LG etc. Till date his 1000 of articles are published in various journals,
magazines, newspapers and online portals. He was also the Editor for Life
Positive, Hindi, Bhavadiya Prabhat, Youth Express, The Third Eye etc.

A versatile personality, Vishwendra loves to work for language and literature. Till date around 120
curriculum as per National Occupational Standard, 24 soft skills books and many other books are in his
account. In short Vishwendra is an expert of content development language engineering, web
technologies, Development Organizations and mass communication.

On his last assignment with one of the international civil society organizations was on the role of
Executive Secretary. Working for about 5 years with World Association For Small & Medium Enterprises
he organized various training, workshops and conference and initiated dialogue on critical issues. He
also leaded the monthly magazine of the organization and initiated networking programs like ‘WE
ALLIANCE'. Finally Vishwendra decided to work for grassroots communities and with the help of other
managing committee members he founded ‘SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CLUB' which is now serving and
training various small and medium sized organizations throughout the country.
CONTENT DEVELOPER: SANJAY KUMAR JHA

Prior to his association with Social development club on full time basis
Sanjay served various organization of national and international repute,
which includes, but not limited to Air Hostess Academy, Frakfinn Institute
of Air hostess training, Mohan Academy etc. A Sanjay Jha is a personality
with Solutions focused, detailed analyst, team oriented leadership, Public
Speaker, bilingual and Graduate in Science from Delhi University, with
Masters Degree (MBA) in Marketing and Finance. Sanjay is having a strong
experience of more than 12 years of Content Development, Counseling
and career guidelines in India and Abroad. Under his leadership Social
Development Cub developed more than 120 curriculums for various
Training Providers.

CONTENT DEVELOPER: RITESH SONI

A Bachelor in Commerce Ritesh is Competent, adroit & result-oriented

MBA with 6+ year of experience in the field of Content Management,
including development and localisation. In the capacity of project
manager Ritesh worked with various companies of national and
international repute including Crystal Hues Ltd, Cutting edge
Technologies.
