11. Establishment of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota

I was one of the key persons responsible for establishment of Rajasthan Technical
University at Kota. I significantly contributed in the development of every section
of the University i.e. academic, exams, affiliation of colleges, etc., in the capacity
of member of Board of Management (BOM), Dean, Faculty of Engineering and
Architect, Dean, Students Welfare, Chairman Board of Studies, Member Academic
Council, Member Board of Inspectors (BOI) and Dean Faculty of Engineering.

I was Chairman of Committee for Drafting Statutes, Ordinances and

Regulations of RTU. A draft of statutes has been prepared and has been
presented to the Board of the Management (BOM), RTU Kota is under
discussion amongst faculty members.

12. Industrial & Professional Consultancies

Provided consultancies for various Civil Engineer Projects e.g.
Recommendation of bearing capacity for various structures such as Building,
Bridges, Canals, Dams, Water Reservoirs, Over Head Tank, Power Plants etc.
Design of High Embankments, Pavements & Overlays
Checking of Design of Water Retaining Structures.
Quality Control of Roads, Canals, Buildings, Dams etc.
Testing of Construction materials and Checking their suitability.
Designing of Embankments of Important Highway Project of East West Corridor
Design of High Embankments using mining waste (soil overburden of boulders) and
waste material i.e. flyash of Kota Thermal Power Plant
Worked as member of state technical agency (STA) for scrutiny of DPR of road
under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

13. Research & Development

The research work through sponsored project by Ministry of Water Resources (GOI)
have been carried out on the use of Flyash as subgrade and/or embankment
material for Roads. The waste materials i.e. Flyash and Plastic Fibers have been
used in Highway Embankment as per our design & stability analysis.

18. Recruitment of JEns/ AEns :
Engineering College Kota/ RTU, Kota had been request to conduct written exams
for recruitment JEns/ AEns for Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. /
Prasaran Nigam Ltd/ Discoms. I was entrusted to be the Coordinator of the Exams.
The exams were successfully conducted and merit list was prepared for
appointment. Such recruit were conducted for three times.
